In the actual business environment, more and more companies are looking for graduates
with potential even though they lack experience. By providing practical work experience,
internships bridge the gap between studying and real work and help converting graduates
into well-prepared employees.
The purpose of this master’s thesis is to create and present a one-week training program
proposal for the sales administration department using the induction training approach for
the company Keraben Group S.A.U. so that it could be implemented in the future. This
paper will inspect the structure and elements in general terms of training and development
including the positive outcomes for trainees and organizations followed by the training
proposal counting with all the planned activities and explanations.
In order to achieve better results and to develop better professional skills, the trainees will
take a one-week induction training before starting the practical aspects of the required
role of the internship. The program will focus on showing, in advance, all the features the
company needs to be covered by the trainee. By doing this, the firm will be going one
step further in the teaching process since the interns will have a previous theoretical
background of what is expected to be done. The program will improve the efficiency of
both trainee and supervisor since the time allocated in explaining the tasks will be shorter.
Hence, it is going to consist in a compilation of the explanation of the company’s
activities altogether with training methods that will show step by step all the procedures.
Every day the trainee will have to go through the correspondent topic and give the
supervisor feedback at the end of the week.
In conclusion, the training program will cover all the aspects needed for a trainee in order
to start the internship placement with all the information given in advance and will allow
the trainees to perform the required tasks and obtain the expected role with greater
efficiency. [-]
