The present work presents the design and development of a 2D video game that combines
the genres of platformer, RPG, and shooter, using the Unity development engine.
The game’s narrative unfolds across two distinct planets within the same solar sys tem. On Planet Aeon, once home to the advanced Chronen civilization, players discover
the aftermath of a society brought to ruin by their manipulation of temporal events.
The Chronen, humanoid beings with silver skin and eyes of multiple colors, possessed
the unique ability to manipulate time. Yet, the consequences of their temporal exploita tion led to a universal crisis, resulting in their sacrifice to preserve the balance of the
universe. Transcending into ethereal guardians, they entrusted their planet’s fate to
their incorporeal forms. Meanwhile, on Planet Caelum, home to the industrious Caeli tas, technological progress had flourished. These small, sturdy creatures with luminous
eyes had achieved significant advancements in medicine, energy, and space exploration.
Their first manned space mission to Planet Aeon unveiled the ruins of the Chronen civ ilization, setting the stage for an interstellar journey and exploration of the mysteries
left behind by a lost society. [-]
