Programación de una Unidad Didáctica en el Ámbito de comunicación y CIencias Sociales: conozcamos el pasado de nuestro entorno y la herencia grecorromana en España

Abstract

El presente Trabajo Final de Máster corresponde a una Unidad Didáctica (UD) implementada en el Ámbito de Comunicación y Ciencias Sociales de una clase de 1.º ESO. El título de la UD es «Conozcamos el pasado de nuestro entorno y la herencia grecorromana en España» y esta ha sido puesta en práctica en el Instituto de Educación Secundaria Juan Bautista Porcar, ubicado en la ciudad de Castellón de la Plana. La UD se ha trabajado por ámbitos en las asignaturas de Lengua y Literatura Castellana, Lengua y Literatura Valenciana, Geografía e Historia y Música durante los meses de febrero, marzo y abril de 2023. El estudiantado ha trabajado durante 23 sesiones en la redacción de una entrevista por parejas y un reportaje por grupos; más la consiguiente locución de estas piezas periodísticas. El objetivo general del presente TFM ha sido reflexionar sobre el legado griego y romano en el entorno más cercano del alumnado (España de manera general y Castellón en particular) a través del género periodístico. Este Trabajo Final de Máster se organiza de la siguiente manera: Marco Teórico (se trabaja el constructivismo como modelo educativo, el enfoque comunicativo como hilo conductor y la enseñanza por ámbitos como apuesta transversal), Contexto del centro educativo, Desarrollo de las actividades que conforman la Unidad Didáctica, Sistemas de evaluación y Conclusiones. Las conclusiones del TFM son las siguientes: la totalidad del alumnado ha tenido una opinión favorable sobre el proyecto; todos los alumnos y alumnas prefieren trabajar en pareja y en grupo, y no de manera individual; poder realizar la excursión a la universidad ha sido un elemento motivador y de aprendizaje clave; los autoaprendizajes extraídos han sido muy diversos y el proyecto ha servido de autorreflexión; se han mejorado los contenidos sobre las asignaturas sin necesidad de realizar un examen; todos los y las estudiantes volverían a realizar el proyecto.

This Master's Thesis corresponds to a Teaching Unit implemented in the Field of Communication and Social Sciences of a 1st class of Secondary. The title of the Curricular Planning is "Let's learn about the past of our environment and the Greco-Roman heritage in Spain" and this has been put into practice at the Juan Bautista Porcar Secondary Education Highschool, located in the city of Castellón de la Plana. The Teaching Unit has been worked by areas in the subjects of Spanish Language and Literature, Valencian Language and Literature, Geography and History and Music during the months of February, March and April 2023. Students have worked during 23 sessions in the writing of an interview in pairs and a reportage in groups; plus the consequent locution of these journalistic pieces. The general objective of this Master's Thesis has been to reflect on the Greek and Roman legacy in the closest environment of the students (Spain in general and Castellón in particular) through the journalistic genre. This Master's Thesis is organized as follows: Theoretical Framework (constructivism is worked as an educational model, the communicative approach as a guiding thread and teaching by fields as a transversal commitment), Context of the educational center, Development of the activities that make up the Teaching Unit, Assessment Systems and Conclusions. The conclusions of the Master's Thesis are the following: all the students have had a favorable opinion about the project; all the students prefer to work in pairs and in groups, and not individually; being able to take the trip to the university has been a key motivating and learning element; the self-learning extracted has been very diverse and the project has served as selfreflection; the contents of the subjects have been improved without the need to take an exam; all the students would do the project again.
