The baroque style is trending in China because of some resemblance to Chinese design concepts. This work is dedicated to the study of the "Song Pou" building, in the city of Harbin, the study is developing a graphic survey and trying to identify their architectural elements of Baroque influence.
The main objective of this work is to show the investigations carried out on the infiltration of traditional Baroque architecture in China and later Neo-Baroque architecture in the city of Harbin (China).
In recent years, previous study has been conducted on Neo-baroque in China. After the Neo-baroque architecture expanded all over Europe where it reached Russia with great force. Then this architecture style from Russia spreaded to China, specifically to the north of the country. In Harbin, for instance, there are numerous neo-baroque buildings built at the beginning of the 20th century [1].
Different Exploration of heritage and architectural surveys will be conducted in this study.
Song Pu Company Building is located at 120, Zhongyang Street, Dao Li district, Harbin, China. Its construction work started in 1906 and finished in 1909, the architect who designed the building was the Russian AA. Myakoko [2].
