access all kinds of information instantly, avoiding basic tourist activities and looking for new
experiences that meet their needs, in a sustainable and accessible way to all. This brings new
challenges but also new opportunities in the framework of the management and development
of cities, which give rise to tourist destinations. However, a process of change and adaptation
of destinations is necessary for their conversion into a smart destination. [-]
