Technologies have always had a strong relationship with the media. The socalled experimental sciences have also shown to have a great influence, especially physics, since the radio is actually a continuous flow of electromagnetic waves, now adapting to the technological revolution, as the rest of the media. In particular, the radio is facing the emergence of podcasting. This research will focus on analyzing the use made by large radio companies of this new system of preservation and distribution of content to be listened to. Precisely, this research focuses on the new possibilities that the aforementioned system offers to sports journalism. The most important conclusion reached after having investigated the behavior of Cadena Ser, Radio Nacional and Radio Marca regarding sports podcasting is that there is no relationship between the variety of sports covered by these stations and how intensively they treat these sports, as the radio station that most deeply should treat sports would be Radio Marca, however the one that covers them more widely and regularly is Cadena Ser.ca_CA
