| ca_CA |
dc.description.abstract | Between the parties that emerged or gained strength with the 15M movement Candidatura d'Unitat Popular (CUP) was the first to achieve institutional representation with remarkable success: three deputies in the Parlament de Catalunya. As a small party without an important budget or media attention, Internet in general and more specifically the social networks are one of its main tools of political communication. So we'll see how CUP and its three institutional representatives act in these spaces and how they interact, or not, with the audience. Moreover, we also examine how digital tools are insufficient to satisfy the communication needs of CUP and how they have developed mechanisms for accessing traditional media space based on videos and sensationalism. Even if they claim to reject the media and the methods used by other parties to access them. In addition, we will see how this mechanism, coupled with other factors, has ended up building a clear leader within a party that rejects precisely the leadership. | ca_CA |
