| ca_CA |
dc.description.abstract | Between the middle of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century, Johan Sadeler made a unique engraving dedicated to María Ana de Baviera, future wife of Ferdinand II of Habsburg. This stamp, made under the structure of the characteristic character of the Musical Emblematic, translates into a revival of the power and religious fervor of the Bavarian court, to which renowned artists came in search of patronage, impregnating the duchy with new creative spirits. The purpose of this study is to establish connections between the policies of the Bavarian court and the visual program of the engraving where King David and Saint Cecilia appear in a kind of significant similarities with the protagonists of the duchy themselves. | ca_CA |
