This study investigated the overall satisfaction of patients in an ambulatory surgery program and its relationship with variables such as age, gender, type of surgery, type of anesthesia, and type of ambulatory surgical incapacity (ASI). An observational and descriptive study was conducted, using a telephone survey to assess patient satisfaction after the intervention. The results showed that patients' overall satisfaction was high, with an average score of 9.28. Furthermore, a significant difference in satisfaction between men and women was found, with women showing higher levels. However, no significant relationships were found between satisfaction and the type of surgery, type of anesthesia, age, or type of ASI. In conclusion, patients in the ambulatory surgery program exhibited high overall satisfaction, and a statistically significant relationship was observed between patients' gender and overall satisfaction.
