Halloween Adventure: Design and Development of a Video Game Focused on Ludonarrative, Character Design and Sound Design

Abstract

Halloween Adventure is a platform game focused on character, narrative and sound design but also on communicating a message of empathy and team work. This video game is design to establish a clear relation between the characters appearance and associated soundtrack with their emotions and mental state. It also aims to associate mechanics and narration as new mechanics will be introduced only when meeting a new character and will only be available when said character is involved. The work consist in the the implementation of all the game mechanics, the design and creation of the 2D art and the sound design.
