The main objective of public relations is based on achieving understanding and dialogue between the organization and its stakeholders. In this way, digital social networks acquire special relevance, since they strengthen communication and the relationship that these subjects maintain. Despite the increase in research on the use of digital social networks in the field of public relations, the review studies that analyze these scholarships are scarce. In this context, the present research aims to compile, synthesize and examine the scientific production on this subject through a bibliometric analysis of papers published in journals indexed in the communication area of the Scopus and Web of Science (WOS) databases. After carrying out the study, it is concluded that the interest in the subject is recent and, although there are a variety of authors and institutions that show interest, there is also a certain specialization in the existence of journals, researchers and universities especially interested in this subject. It also highlights that the co-authorship index obtained in this study is relatively high and that the analyzed texts are of quality. [-]
