Nowadays, we are facing an environment that is constantly changing. Currently, mental
illnesses are beginning to gain importance compared to a few years ago, where if you
had a problem that was not physical, people underestimated you and the fear of asking
for help was latent.
Because it is beginning to normalize the fact of having a mental disorder, it is common
that more and more people are appearing who present this type of problems, which
does not mean that before they were not there, but that they were not given the same
importance.
In this research we will deal with one of those disorders known as burn-out or burnout
syndrome that derives from a bad management of our emotions and the organizational
problems that exist in the work environment, since the organizations due to the fact that
they do not offer good work climates end up generating a stress that if it becomes
chronic will be detrimental to the health of the worker.
On the other hand, we will find out the possibility that depending on the gender of the
person, that is, if you are a man or a woman, you are more prone to suffer this type of
disorder, as it will be key to organize a good prevention of occupational risks and also
to choose a more appropriate treatment for that person who suffers from it. [-]
