La EAA, una herramienta educativa

Abstract

En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado del grado de Magisterio de Educación Infantil, se realiza una investigación exhaustiva de la literatura sobre el vínculo humano-animal y de cómo un animal puede transformarse en una herramienta de terapia en la mayoría de contextos, ya sea de forma social, psicológica o educativa, siendo entonces cuando esta unión terapéutica entre el hombre y el animal recibió el nombre de Intervenciones Asistidas con Animales (IAA). Dentro de esta rama se encuentran diferentes clasificaciones de intervenciones que aparecen a raíz del contacto directo con los animales, donde en cada una de ellas el animal ejerce una función distinta. En este caso, y en lo referente al trabajo de investigación en el mundo de la educación, este se centra en la Educación Asistida con Animales (EAA), mediante la cual el animal es un apoyo en el aula para llegar a conseguir unos objetivos o contenidos curriculares marcados. A partir de este punto, es donde se realiza un análisis cualitativo mediante una encuesta enviada a diferentes asociaciones nacionales profesionalizadas en este ámbito, donde el objetivo principal es demostrar los beneficios que un animal puede aportar en el ámbito de la Educación Asistida bajo la perspectiva de los profesionales cualificados en esta profesión. A lo largo de este trabajo, se muestra un estudio donde se analizarán las encuestas de las asociaciones de IAA recibidas y los resultados obtenidos. Finalmente se expone una propuesta de innovación relacionada con la investigación y la aplicación en el aula.

In the present Preschool Education Bachelor’s thesis I have carried out an exhaustive research of the literature on the human-animal bond and how an animal can transform itself into a therapy tool in most contexts, be it in a social, psychological or educational way, being this therapeutic union between the man and animal called Animal-Assisted Intervention (AAI). Within this branch we find different intervention classifications that appear as a result of direct contact with animals, in which the animal has a different function in each of them. In this case, and in relation to the research work in the world of education, it has focused on Animal-Assisted Education (AAE), whereby the animal is a support in the classroom to achieve certain objectives or indicated curricular content. From this point on, it is where I carry out a qualitative analysis through a survey sent to different professional national associations in this field, whose main objective is to demonstrate the benefits that an animal can bring to the field of Assisted Education from the perspective of qualified professionals in this profession.Throughout this work, it show a study where the surveys received from the AAI associations and the results obtained will be analysed. Finally, in this present an innovation proposal related to research and implementation in the classroom.
