After years the Spanish educational system has ignored the importance of work and empowerment
in classrooms. As a consequence, there has been an increasingly notable dropout rate, to the point
of becoming one of the biggest problems in Spanish society. Faced with this situation, there are
many researchers and education experts who have found that most of the students experience a
lack of motivation, directly or indirectly linked to the school environment.
Motivation is the engine that drives us to act and invest one time or another in doing certain things.
Therefore, it is considered a necessary factor for the teaching-learning process.
This work offers a proposal to work on motivational strategies applicable to any age, making the
corresponding adaptations. These strategies are worked through 30 activities that seek different
specific objectives, such as increasing the self-esteem of each boy and girl and confidence with their
peers. The achievement of each and every one of them will allow each of the students to be at ease
with themselves and face daily situations and challenges with a positive attitude. [-]
