Development of a cooperative and competitive game about two teams fighting to kill their boss first

Abstract

This document summarizes the process of development of my Final Degree Work for the Video Game Design and Development Bachelor’s Degree in Universitat Jaume I. This work consists in the development of a multiplayer game player versus environment and player versus player (PvEvP) in which four players team up to fight a powerful enemy that requires communication from the players and coordination in order to be defeated. At the same time, players compete against another team to be the first team that defeats their powerful enemy. During the development of this game, another focus of this work is to see if the idea is compatible with the current market, and if so, developing the project as a foundation for an even bigger game to be developed later.
