Management of field service refers to a system that involves managing end-to-end
activities in field service and includes scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and billing. Field
service management is an essential aspect of every organization. This is because it aims at
improving not only deliverability but also the productivity of the field service teams. Among
the advantages associated with the management of field services include a reduction in both
operational overheads and fuel costs and management of the mobile workforce (Campbell &
Jardine, 2016). Another benefit includes accessibility to customer information from anywhere.
An active field management system, therefore, helps field service organizations in
sustainability efforts. It also provides a foundation for reductions in paper, printing, and fuel
costs. Additional reductions also include energy, shipping, and packaging costs (Bevilacqua,
Ciarapica & Paciarotti, 2015). Despite all these benefits, several organizations lack effective
strategies to manage their field services. This is because it is usually difficult to track the
movement of field service officers and effectively evaluate their operations. However, the
introduction of mobile application has made it easy for organizations to make the process easy
and efficient. One of the applications is the Click APP. This project explored how AB InBev
Company depends on Click APP application workforce management APP to run their
businesses every day. The paper established that to achieve this, the Click APP ensured that
its Windows-based solutions stay available around the clock. The research also established
that the company relies on the Click APP to make its innovative products that are relevant to
its needs. Thus, based on this research finding, the company's cloud-based offerings, Click
APP has enabled it to meet the demands of the organization. Though the case, the research
established that the company should upgrade its Click APP to enjoy more benefits. [-]
