The most affected cognitive functions by Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) are attention, executive functions and the anterograde memory which are intrinsically related to the subject’s functional performance. Cognitive impairment is related to conditions that are
disabling and harmful to the subject’s social integration. For this reason, it is relevant to
propose an early neuropsychological intervention, a factor that improves the quality of
recovery of the cognitive skills and the result itself. The objective of this study was to be
able to determine in four people with ABI the degree of cognitive impairment as well as
whether there was an improvement in the cognitive functions affected during the
intervention phase and after its completion. [-]
