It is important for education and psychology professionals, as well as students in these disciplines, to be trained in the inclusive model. The objective of this study is to inquire into the participants’ perception and training in a massive open online course (MOOC) in the inclusive classroom. The methodology employed is a descriptive design which uses the survey method and a questionnaire as the instrument. The sample is made up of 241 informants. The results reveal that there is a high percentage of participants who perceive diversity as a challenge, and that they have not received sufficient training to work within the inclusive model. Likewise, they believe that a good way of working within these parameters is with participative and cooperative models. We can also glean what the participants understand by inclusion. Even though diversity seems to be widely recognized, professionals and future education professionals must be trained and equipped with tools in higher education in order to work towards inclusive tenets. Es importante que los profesionales de la educación y la psicología, así como los estudiantes sobre estas disciplinas, se formen sobre el modelo inclusivo. El objetivo de este trabajo es indagar sobre la percepción y formación de los participantes de un curso masivo en línea (MOOC) sobre el aula inclusiva. El diseño metodológico utilizado consiste en un diseño de tipo descriptivo, que utiliza el método de encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario. La muestra está formada por 241 informantes. Los resultados evidencian que existe un alto porcentaje de los participantes que perciben la diversidad como un desafío. Y que no han recibido una formación suficiente para trabajar desde el modelo inclusivo. Asimismo, creen que una buena forma para trabajar desde estos parámetros es a través de metodologías participativas y cooperativas. También se extrae lo que entienden los participantes por inclusión. A pesar de que la diversidad parece ser reconocida, hay que formar y dotar de herramientas a los futuros o profesionales de la educación desde la educación superior, con el fin de avanzar hacia presupuestos inclusivos.
