dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this final degree work was to develop a new simple, fast, selective and reliable analytical method for the determination of two antiparasitic drugs, using micellar liquid chromatography (MLC) with absorbance detection. This technique was chosen because it allows the direct injection of biological samples without any previous treatment. This fact is an advantage over other analytical techniques reviewed in the literature, which are more expensive and require more longer and complex experimental procedures. Another important advantage is the use of mobile phases of high water content in isocratic mode, compared to the conventional RP-HPLC that uses hydro-organic mobile phases circulating in gradient. This fact results in less time for analysis and less use of toxic organic solvents.ca_CA
