dc.description.abstractThe aim of this work is to study the catalytic properties of palladium nanoparticles immobilized onto reduced graphene oxide. This objective can be divided into the following items: o Synthesis and characterization of an imidazolium salt that would serve as ligand precursor. o Synthesis of a Pd-NHC complex and full characterization by 1H NMR, APT NMR, 1 H-1H COSY, 1H-13C HSQC, 1H-13C HMBC, MS, X-Ray diffraction and TGA. o Immobilization and characterization by TEM and ICP-MS of the Pd-NHC complex onto rGO. o Formation of PdNPs immobilized onto rGO and full characterization by TEM, ICPMS and XPS. o Study of the catalyst properties of the PdNPs immobilized onto rGO in the SuzukiMiyaura reaction. o Study of recyclability of the PdNPs immobilized onto rGO in the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction.ca_CA
