The objective of this longitudinal study is to analyse the relation between executive functions, evaluated
in Pre-school Education through neuropsychological and behavioural tests, and access to the lexicon at
the end of second of Primary Education. Also, analyse the differences of executive functions evaluated at
the first moment among students with and without problems of access to the lexicon two years later. 179
children that are 5 years old. The results show a relation in executive functions and the subsequent access
to the lexicon with both evaluation modalities. Emphasizes the behavioural evaluation completed by the
teachers. The results also show that children with difficulties have greater problems on almost all of the
executive functions analysed. The results are discussed in terms of their theorical and practical
implications. [-]
El objetivo de este estudio longitudinal es analizar la relación entre las funciones ejecutivas, evaluadas en
tercero de Educación Infantil mediante pruebas neuropsicológicas y conductuales, y el acceso al léxico ... [+]
El objetivo de este estudio longitudinal es analizar la relación entre las funciones ejecutivas, evaluadas en
tercero de Educación Infantil mediante pruebas neuropsicológicas y conductuales, y el acceso al léxico al
finalizar segundo de Educación Primaria. También se analizan las diferencias en las funciones ejecutivas
evaluadas en el primer momento entre alumnos con y sin problemas de acceso al léxico dos años después.
Participaron 179 niños de 5 años. Los resultados muestran una relación entre el funcionamiento ejecutivo
y el acceso al léxico posterior con ambas modalidades de evaluación. Destaca la evaluación conductual de
los maestros. Los resultados también muestran que los niños con dificultades presentan mayores
problemas en la práctica totalidad de las funciones ejecutivas analizadas. Se discuten las implicaciones
teóricas y prácticas de los resultados. [-]
