Análisis de las relaciones entre iguales como método de mejora del clima social del aula. Una evaluación sociométrica

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación es conocer y estudiar las relaciones sociales que se establecen entre los alumnos de 3º y 5º curso de Educación Primaria, con la finalidad de analizar el clima del aula y comprobar si existe una diferencia alarmante de rechazo entre ambos niveles educativos. A partir de la administración del cuestionario sociométrico Sociomet y de la extracción y análisis de los valores obtenidos, se conocerá el grado de cohesión de los grupos, la posición de cada miembro en relación con los otros, la estructura informal de los alumnos dentro de la clase y el grado de sociabilidad de los individuos de los grupos. Además, una vez obtenidos los resultados de las nominaciones emitidas por el grupo de alumnos y alumnas, se analizará la información teniendo en cuenta la matriz de datos y valores, los diferentes tipos sociométricos (preferidos, medios, ignorados, rechazados y controvertidos), los índices grupales y el sociograma de primeras nominaciones positivas y negativas, lo cual permitirá estudiar a cada niño y niña a través de sus elecciones, rechazos y percepciones respecto a sus compañeros, así como el nivel de integración de cada uno de los alumnos y alumnas en el grupo-clase.

The aim of this research is to know and study the social relationships established among the students of 3rd and 5th year of Primary Education. This investigation has the purpose of analyzing the classroom climate and verying if there is an alarming difference of rejection between both educational levels. Based on the administration of the sociometric questionnaire Sociomet and the extraction and analysis of the values obtained, the degree of cohesion of the groups, the position of each member in relation to the others, the informal structure of the students within the class and the degree of sociability of the individuals of the groups will be known. In addition, once obtained the results of the nominations issued by the group of students, the information will be analyzed taking into account the matrix of data and values, the different sociometric types (preferred, media, ignored, rejected and controversial), the group indices and the sociogram of first positive and negative nominations, which will allow each child to be studied through their choices, rejections and perceptions regarding their peers, and the level of integration of each student in the groupclass.
