This proposal lies within the intention of designing a Service-Learning Integrated Project or Extracurricular activity. Its goal is to obtain a theoretical non-monetary experiment (a Time Bank) aimed
at a group of 4th of Secondary Education (“ESO”), together with the relevant neighbourhood
association of the suburb to improve English language learning in a supportive way. To be more
specific, the students at this age have already acquired a sufficient level of English and enough
maturity enough to be challenged by a project like this. The aim here resides in providing a resilient
proposal (such as a stable and balanced tool to register exchanges) which will eventually allow
learners to empower themselves via the use of the relevant worksheets for fostering reading
comprehension at the same time as students consolidating their skills in this ability too. Thirdly,
there will be a project spreadsheet which will schedule the dates when every milestone is reached,
together with the Disclosure of the project. Fourthly, there will be a conclusions section where the
main results of the design will appear. An annex section and the References' one will close this
Master's Final Dissertation. [-]
