Throughout the years, the adolescence stage has been known as a period of hormonal changes and psychical development. All these variations that teenagers suffer have consequently a dramatic modification in their behaviour. As this phase coincides with the beginning of Secondary Education, it can be difficult for educators to teach a lesson because of their students’ attitude. For this reason, monitoring the students’ behaviour is also a relevant task, which the teacher has to deal with. Nevertheless, as nowadays a broad range of technological devices is available for everyone, there are new methodologies and techniques in order to fulfil that target. In order to solve this obstacle when teaching in High Schools, this study focuses on one specific app labelled as Class Dojo. This innovative technique will be implemented in a High School class during a specific period of time in order to observe the behavioural progress of the students. The purpose of this study is to prove Class Dojo as a gamification pedagogical tool in the secondary education classroom, namely in the English language subject. In order to fulfil this aim, this app has been used in a group of students throughout a didactic unit. Class Dojo has compiled all the data in graphs and afterwards, it has been analysed. Frequency analyses revealed that Class Dojo has mostly positive effects on students although it must be taken into account a previous study on the students in order to use properly the device as it has not have the same impact in disruptive students.
