The project consists of the development and design of a video game that allows the player to learn about the history of art in a different way, where the player can go through a Museum and entering different significant pictures to explore them more fully and discover curiosities “inside” them.
In addition, the project has been created taking into account an initial plan previously presented and a continuous development for this. The different deadlines for each task performed are explained in this document, taking into account the initial planning and how it has been modified throughout the process
The first phase of the project has been aimed at the creation of the Museum, both the design and modeling. In addition, from pictures in high resolution images playable with different layers of depth rooms have been created to give the player more freedom of movement and create the sensation that really is inside the paint.
During the second phase have been developed movements and actions that the player can perform in the game. In turn, the camera, which is part of the vision of the player, being this a first person game. Also it has focused on the gameplay, creating timer and score.
Finally, in the last phase of development, proven elements do not contain or create errors to improve the experience. In addition, it has taken a classroom of Institute of about 14 students to check the operation of the game, both gameplay and learning. [-]
