dc.description.abstract | Purpose: The purpose of this study is to know how private companies manage the social practices on quality management in their organizations. Therefore, in order to obtain the information, these practices will be analyzed by extracting the main information from a private company at the end of the current analysis. I will start with a theoretical review; there will be analysed how quality management has evolved, as well as a distinction between the soft and hard terms. Moreover, the social aspect of quality management will receive a great emphasis. It will also deepen the EFQM model and the so-called quality gurus. Design/methodology/approach: The methodology followed in the study is the realization of a review of the literature about the quality management on the hard and soft aspects and also the implementation of the Model of Excellence by evaluating the soft aspects to a private company. Findings: Regarding the soft aspects, once the analysis has been completed, it has been observed that the degree of involvement in these elements by the evaluated company has been satisfactory, because they are concerned about the social aspect of quality management to the extent of their possibilities. | ca_CA |
