The teaching of grammar has always been one of the most complex tasks for TS. This paper
presents a research study that has been carried out to analyse and evaluate a methodology of
teaching grammar (NTM) based on different activities other than the traditional methods. The
project was implemented mostly through games, communicative grammar activities and
inductive tasks. The study lasted three weeks. It was accomplished in a 4 th of ESO classroom in a
Spanish highschool.
The qualitatively collected data was of great help in order to see whether or
not the methodology used was successful. The results gathered in this study indicate that STS
are interested in improving their grammar skills by continuing learning under the NT
methodology. [-]
