Análisis de las actividades prácticas en los libros de texto de biologia en Secundaria

Abstract

En este Trabajo Final de Máster voy a realizar una investigación educativa observando la presencia de actividades prácticas en los libros de texto de Biología en la Educación Secundaria. Ya que actualmente se busca una educación donde los profesores sean un guía para sus alumnos y no un mero transmisor de conocimientos como hasta hace pocos años considero importante ver si los libros de texto ayudan a que los alumnos sean los protagonistas de su propio aprendizaje y no el profesor. El investigar los libros de texto es debido a que sigue siendo el material didáctico más usado por los profesores. Para realizar esta investigación he seleccionado el tema de la Educación para la Salud y comprobar su presencia en los diferentes cursos. Se han analizado un total de 12 editoriales diferentes, cubriendo la práctica totalidad de oferta editorial en la Comunidad Valenciana, siendo un total de 25 libros. Dada la actual situación de cambio de ley educativa, nos permitió analizar si existen diferencias entre los materiales anteriores a la LOMCE y los nuevos libros de texto. Tras el análisis exhaustivo, podemos concluir que existe una mejora en los materiales publicados en cuanto a la diversidad de actividades propuestas, aunque muchas de ellas no cumplen los requisitos marcados desde la Didáctica de las Ciencias en cuanto a emisión de hipótesis o análisis de resultados.

In this Final work of Master I will conduct educational research, noting the presence of practical activities in the textbooks of biology in secondary education. Since currently seeks an education where teachers are a guide for your students and not a mere transmitter of knowledge as until a few years ago I think it important to see if the textbooks help students to be the protagonists of their own learning and not the teacher. Investigate the textbooks is because it is still most used by teachers teaching material. To make this research I have selected the theme of education for health and check its presence in different courses. We have analyzed a total of 12 publishers different, covering virtually all publishing offer in the Valencian Community, being a total of 25 books. Given the current situation of change of educational law, allowed us to examine whether there are differences between the materials prior to the LOMCE and the new textbooks. After thorough analysis, we can conclude that there is an improvement in the material published in terms of the diversity of proposed activities, although many of them do not meet the requirements marked from the teaching of Sciences in terms of emission of assumptions or analysis of results.
