dc.description.abstract | This research paper is focused on the observation, analysis and improvement proposal of the current website of the company Jasa Internacional. Hence, this project has as its main goals, firstly, to observe and analyse the aforementioned webpage to detect possible flaws or improvement areas; through a series of improvement measures proposed here, to make the website useful, helpful, and appealing so that customers can easily find the information needed; and thirdly, to contribute achieve the company’s goal; that is, to increase the traffic, sales and fidelity of customers. First of all I will describe the company, Jasa Internacional, and its potential customers since the webpage will be adapted to their necessities. The potential customers are the British citizens living in Spain as the majority of the products sold are British. Besides, I will take into account Hofstede’s Dimensions of Culture to see if there are any cultural aspects to be considered in the webpage. Apart from that, the influence of electronic commerce nowadays will be explained and, consequently, how to persuade online buyers according to their behaviour. Finally, I will draw attention to the website: an analysis of the site will be carried out in order to show in which aspects it fails and how to improve them. In order to achieve so, the study will be conducted in terms of design, textual content, and language features; as these are the main elements of any webpage. The result will be an updated and renewed website where both customers and the company can meet their goals. | ca_CA |
