Evolución de la seguridad y defensa de la Unión Europea, desde los tratados constitutivos hasta la actualidad. El papel desempeñado por la OTAN en la incorporación de la seguridad y defensa al proceso de integración, la caída del bloque soviético y la desaparición de la amenaza militar de la guerra fría.

Evolution of common security and defence in the European Union, from the constituent treaties to the present. The role played by NATO during the incorporation of security and defence to the European integration process, as well as the fall of the Soviet block, with the disappearance of the militar menace brought about by the Cold War.
