dc.description.abstract | The study represents an analysis of the code-switching strategy in the discourse of a radio journalist very popular in Valencian Community (Spain). The paper revises some macrosociolinguistic and microsociolinguistic dimensions of code-switching like the relationship between some pattterns of it and the socio-historical picture of the Valencian society. The main participant, the conductor of the program, manipulate the situational context of interaction and makes of the choice of language and code-switching a feature of shared and mixed identity to maintain the status quo of the actual bilingual situation. | ca_CA |
