continue donant vida a VIlafamés. [-]

This is a work aimed at promoting artistic education together with the knowledge of the
history of a town and its museum, all stimulated by physical activity. It is a work that offers a
playful learning where the pupils develop activities to create an appreciation for art and its
surroundings. The visit to non-formal educational spaces is key to complement the great work
that is carried out in schools. In this case, the activities are developed together with the
MACVAC and their objective is to unite this formal and non-formal education, or better said,
to unite the school with the museum of the town and the whole educational community. It
also aims to transmit the history of a population with a very extensive quantity and quality,
which together with the creation of the museum give meaning to the development of this
project to continue giving life to everything that has already been developed around it. The
founding of MACVAC by Vicent Aguilera, together with the help of the mayor Vicent Benet
in the 1970s, served to give life to an old town with a great deal of history but which had
been completely abandoned. The creation of the museum and all that it entailed made the reconstruction of the old quarter a reality and revitalised the town in a transcendental way.
This legacy is the reason why this work makes sense, to continue to give visibility to all that
was created and thus art continues to give life to VIlafamés. [-]
