Breast irradiation after surgery is essential for survival. Local
radiodermatitis is the most common toxicity in this treatment. Therefore, it is convenient
to study whether there are differences in the type and time of appearance of
radiodermatitis, and the related factors, depending on the type of fractionation.
Objective: To compare the intensity of radiodermatitis in breast cancer patients with
previous conservative surgery and subjected to radiotherapy, according to the
fractionation scheme (conventional fractionation (2 Gy / session) vs hypofractionated
(2.67 Gy / session)). [-]
