Paquita Salas y la cultura televisiva de la década de 1990. Análisis de la serie Paquita Salas

Abstract

Este trabajo se fundamenta enel estudio de la intertextualidad como recurso principal para la realización de una ficción. Para poder abordar con coherencia este aspecto, se toma como referencia Paquita Salas, una serie creada por Javier Calvo y Javier Ambrossi y producida por la plataforma Flooxer de Atresmedia. En particular, se puede decir que el objetivo principal del mismo es el análisis de las referencias a la cultura televisiva de la década de 1990existentes en la obra.El estudio desarrolla otras líneas de investigación que complementan a la principal. En primer lugar, la representación que la serielleva a cabode la industria audiovisual española, en concreto la cara oculta de este sector.Por otro lado, la investigación se completa conla recreaciónque la serie hacede un ambiente dualista (que oscila entre unos esteriotipos arraigados a la era analógica y la modernidad) existente en España.Como última clave a destacar para cerrar este estudio, se analizael estilo argumental y estético desde la perspectiva de la hibridación implícita en la serie,dado que esta, esel resultado de la combinación entre el género de la comedia y el falso documental.

This work is based on the study of intertextuality as the main resource for the realisationof a fictional series. In order to approachthis aspect coherently, the series Paquita Salasis taken as a reference, a series createdby Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi and produced by the Flooxer platform of Atresmedia. In particular, it can be said that it’s main objectiveis toanalyse the references ofthe television culture fromthe 1990s in the work. The study develops other lines of research that complement the main one. Firstly, the representation thatthe series carries out of the Spanish audiovisual industry, specifically the hidden face of this sector. On the other hand, the research is completed with the recreation that the series makes of a dualistic environment (that oscillates between stereotypes rooted in the analogical era and modernity) existing in Spain. To conclude this study, we analyse the plot and a aesthetic style fromthe perspective of the hybridisation implicit in the series, since this is the result of the combination between the genre of comedy and mockumentary.
