The objective of this study is to develop a new business model proposal in the fashion
industry following the principles of the sustainability and circular economy. In doing so, we draw
on the principles and advantages of circularity from a social, environmental and organizational
point of view and examine how firms can face the new opportunities that these aspects represent
through the adoption of circular business models. First, a brief study of the existing literature on
the concepts of sustainability and circular economy, highlighting its principles and how these are
linked to the fashion industry and business world was done. Next, the circular business models
and especially those that are framed within the new circular fashion were analysed. [-]
