Nowadays, in the educational environment, there is a big discussion about which
methodology is the most adequete to apply in the classroom and center. For this reason, it is very
important to investigate and analyze the results of applying new methodologies, studying both
negative and positive aspects.
The objective of this end-of-degree work (TFG) is to assess the use of a method where
autistic spectrum disorders (TEA) have an active role and remain the protagonists of their own
learning through the method trial-error. It is tried to study if by means of this methodology they
develop their computational thought and learn to realize passages and labyrinths of significant
way, doing use of the educational robotics. In this case, we have used an educational and
programmable robot called Bee-Bot.
To implement the project, we gathered a group of four kids, all of them being members of
the Smile Project of the Jaume I University. These are in the first degree of autism, which is what is
called autism mild or Asperger's Syndrome.
The study consists in a specific number of activities, in which we have observed, thanks to
which we have been able to observe that the implementation of this methodology favors positively
the students with TEA and facilitates the acquisition of new knowledge. [-]
