dc.description.abstract | In our days, globalization has changed the way in which foreign languages are learned, taught, and used. The mobility of people and capital, and the global information networks and technologies have made the norms used before unstable. All these changes make necessary to consider more reflective, interpretive and politically engaged pedagogies than in the eighties. For that reason, the idea of this project is to explain the different ways to teach and learn foreign languages, with their main characteristics in order to understand the several changes regarding this type of education. Moreover, a short explanation on the linguistic situation of the European Union is done. As the EU tries to encourage foreign language learning, the interest on the concept of CLIL is greater and greater. Because of that, the central part of this project is dedicated to this concept, its features and also some experiences carried out in Spain, in order to obtain a general but complete view of the evolution and current situation of foreign language teaching and particularly of CLIL. | ca_CA |
