La Historia Agraria contemporánea española en claroscuro

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza la trayectoria de la historia agraria española en las últimas décadas. Para los objetivos de este trabajo nos hemos limitado a la historia agraria de la época contemporánea. Aunque se analiza la evolución de la disciplina desde su fundación a comienzos de la década de los setenta del siglo pasado, se presta especial atención a la evolución de los últimos 15 años. Hemos considerado tanto los cambios estrictamente historiográficos, como la dinámica institucional de la profesión. En un primer apartado, se describe la trayectoria de la disciplina hasta el turning point de 2001. En la segunda sección, analizamos los cambios institucionales recientes y los problemas surgidos desde la crisis económica y la reducción de la financiación de la investigación en España. En el último apartado, mostramos algunos de los temas y debates recientes que, en nuestra opinión, pueden resultar más prometedores para el futuro de la historiografía agrarista contemporánea en España.

This study analyses the trajectory of the Spanish rural history in the last decades. For the aims of this work, we have limited to the rural history of the late modern period. Though the evolution of the discipline is analysed since the seventies, we presents special attention to the evolution of historiography during the last 15 years. Both historiographical changes and institutional dynamics of the profession are considered. In the first section, we analyze the path of the discipline up to the turning point of 2001. In the second section, we analyze the recent institutional changes and the problems arisen from the economic crisis and the reduction of the research budgets in Spain. In the last section, we show some of the topics and recent debates that, in our opinion, can be more promising for the future of the contemporary rural history research in Spain.
