In the current work I will analyze the annual accounts of Sant Joan de Moro and
Morella, in the periods of 2016, 2017 and 2018. There will be a comparison of the
municipal budgets and their evolution and I will provide didactic material to the public.
The objective of this research paper is to prepare a study of the economic-financial
situation of two entities of similar population but with a different economic activity. On
the first hand, I am going to do an analysis of the annual accounts and budget
documents, using indicators that allow obtaining results of budgetary management and
taking into account the budget stability regulations.
To carry out this analysis I will use the information provided by the city councils and
state laws.
I will finally conclude according to the results obtained in the study that converge in the
distinction between the budgets analyzed and the characteristics of the municipalities. [-]
