¿Es construida la identidad de la mujer, en función de su pareja sentimental?

Abstract

La presente investigación partirá de los testimonios de algunas de las mujeres que han sido seleccionadas durante la intervención realizada en el Centro Mujer 24 horas de Alicante. A raíz de compartir e intercambiar experiencias con muchas de las usuarias, observamos que la gran mayoría coincidían en el malestar y la violencia institucional que estaban sufriendo. Las características comunes que mostraban las usuarias entrevistadas, hicieron que empezase a cuestionarme acerca de la construcción de sus identidades como mujeres, y la vulnerabilidad de las mismas ante la violencia sufrida. Para abordar estas cuestiones se toma como punto de partida la manera en que se construyen las identidades, para después reflexionar acerca de los mandatos de género que hacen más vulnerable a la mujer ante episodios de violencia. Posteriormente se analizará el proceso de socialización diferencial, y lo que representa en la vida de las mujeres y hombres, y en el amor romántico en particular. Tras los testimonios de las usuarias seleccionadas, conoceremos la forma en que los mitos del amor romántico actúan justificando la violencia de género. Finalmente se verificará la eficacia del marco legislativo implementado en nuestro país, y si dichas medidas son eficaces para el futuro empoderamiento de las mujeres, ya que lejos de desaparecer encontramos un aumento en los casos de violencia de género.

The present research will be based on the testimonies of some of the women who have been selected during the intervention carried out at the 24 hour Women's Center in Alicante. As a result of sharing and exchanging experiences with many of the users, we observed that the great majority were in agreement on the institutional malaise and violence they were suffering. The common characteristics that the users interviewed showed, began to question me about the construction of their identities as women, and the vulnerability of the same before the violence suffered. To address these issues, the starting point is the way identities are constructed, and then reflect on the gender mandates that make women more vulnerable to violence. Subsequently, the process of differential socialization, and what it represents in the lives of women and men, and in romantic love in particular, will be analyzed. After the testimonies of the selected users, we will know how the myths of romantic love act justifying gender violence. Finally, we will verify the effectiveness of the legislative framework implemented in our country, and whether these measures are effective for the future empowerment of women, since far from disappearing we find an increase in cases of gender violence.
