dc.description.abstract | Purpose The aim of this work is to reveal different opinions and viewpoints about well-being, healthy workplace practices and the relationship between well-being and possible outcomes affecting organisations. Nowadays, organisations have increased their awareness of possible concerns in the workplace which have a relationship with personal lives of employees. In this review, I want to emphasise the relevance of conciliation practices between work and personal lives, and why these practices benefit companies. Moreover, I will try to analyse organisational health framework, with the goal of linking the interactions between employees, managers and the work environment. Regarding concepts about health, I want to explain the importance of concepts such as well-being and the different workplace practices carried out by organisations to get a balance between employees’ lives and a positive performance for the organisation. In general, the goal is to explain the different steps taken by organisations to create the path to a healthy world, in which people appreciate the work-life balance. Analysis methods To conduct a research work it is necessary to carry out a methodical process leading to the appropriate achievement of our objectives, as well as a clear and specific plan to get a suitable investigation methodology related to the type of work that we want to do. The methodology used in this work is the theoretical review. The theoretical review consists in a revision of previous works completed by relevant authors, and the goal is to detect and consult useful literature for the purpose of the study, as well as to extract and compile relevant and needed information. It is important to be careful with the search and the collection of the information, considering that not every information item found is an appropriate source. So, that is why it is very important to select the most relevant updated information. The sources of information used in this review are both primary, extracted from books and articles, and secondary, extracted from summaries and web pages inside a specific field of knowledge. Therefore, the theoretical review is a careful review of theoretical and practical studies done by others which have a relationship with the objective of the review. The study should take elements from the past and recognise previous work and research done by other people. To conduct a profound review | ca_CA |
