No

A methodology that might help teaching staff, in the way students understand a portfolio and the
way they can benefit from it, is presented. We designed a procedure that consisted on: a seminary to
help students understand the benefits of performing a good portfolio and how to achieve it. We haven’t
just analysed if students knew what a portfolio is, and what is it for and the grade of their portafolio
preintervention; we also tried to prove in what way a suitable intervention could improve, not just the
mark they obtain in their portfolio, also the way they understand it.
We can conclude that students have no knowledge on how to elaborate the portfolio and that
they were not doing it appropriately and that through a suitable intervention, the way they develop the
portfolio could be improved, gaining 10 points over 100 as average, and also increasing the number of
portfolios considered as “well-done” until 18,2%. We could not conclude, as we did before, that they
had improved their knowledge about the portafolio, despite 100% of students considered as useful the
seminar. [-]
