This renovation Project analyses insightfully and intervenes into Madrid's existing dwelling's climate envelope and heating installation systems, following Danish building regulations without losing Spanish considerations. The goals desired along the project have been; heating energy demand reduction, on the other hand renewable energy sources applications, as well as indoor's climate condition improvements. The objective is verify that current building energy limit requirements in Spain could be modify severally in order to satisfy EU building energy rates in 2020. The measures taken to achieve it have been building climate screen re-insulation, heat pump installation connected to some different renewable heating collectors (as solar thermal panels and geothermal boreholes) which maximise the electrical heating consumption of the heat pump. Furthermore, the intervention purposes a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery installation. Then it has been performed cost-effectiveness and payback study to confirm the profitability of the renovation measures. Finally the semi-detached dwelling has been simulated in different software, which have inspected indoor climate parameters, which determine the future users comfort.ca_CA
