For years (PALAO, 2007 and 2008) we have been exploring the complexity of post-classical cinema under the premise that the main changes that have taken place in global cinematographic discourse over the last fifteen years have their roots in the contact between cinema and interactive digital media (vid. PAGE and BROWNEN, 2011): such as assimilation, approaching or reaction. In the last work published on this line of research (PALAO, 2012), we attempted to establish, albeit with a still very precarious systematisation, a battery of new resources from post-classical cinema, as regards both the mise-en-scène and the narrative structure. The text the reader has in his or her hands is devoted to performing a more detailed exploration of one of them, which we have called hypernucleus. [-]
