La responsabilitat de pensar la pau a la fi del mil·leni.

Abstract

L'encís d'acabar un mil·leni té una tradició en la nostra cultura respecte de com encarar el futur. L'article repassa les característiques de la Filosofia de la Pau heretada de Kant: ús públic de la raó i justícia, participació entusiasmada amb la disposició moral de la humanitat a fer les coses millor, punt de vista desinteressat i moral, no impedir que cada poble es done la constitució que millor li semble i basada en la idea regulativa de la pau. En la segona part es repassen el mateixos temes cies de la perspectiva de la Investigació per a la Pau: construcció de la pau positiva amb justícia, educació en la imaginació per a la construcció del futur, relació entre seguretat, sobirania i governabilitat, com expressió de la nostra responsabilitat a la fi del mil·leni.

In our culture the charm of the end of a millennium traditionally carries the idea of how to face the future. This article reviews the characteristics of the philosophy of peace inherited from Kant: public use of reason and justice, enthusiastic participation in the moral disposition of humanity in order to make things better; a moral and selfless viewpoint, allowing each people to have the best possible constitution based On the regulating idea of peace. In the second part, the same topics are reviewed but now from the perspective of peace studies: building positive peace with justice, educating the imagination to build the future, and the relationship betweell security, sovereignty and governability as all expression of our responsability al the end of the millennium.
