The objective of the present study is to analyze the direct effect of the technostress on the efficacy beliefs and their indirect effect on burnout. In this two-wave longitudinal study, the sample was composed by 274 Spanish secondary school teachers (57% women and 43% men). Structural Equation Modeling showed a strong evidence for the negative impact of technostress on the efficacy beliefs, Which lead in turn to burnout. These results agree with the mediating role of efficacy beliefs between technostress and burnout. Theoretical and practical implications are also discussed. [-]
