La Plana Cultural is a digital media specialized in the Plana Baixa region of
Castellón. Its main objective is to give visibility to the extensive cultural heritage
of the region and promote local culture to reach a wider audience.
The name of the online platform, "La Plana Cultural," is simple and clear,
reflecting the geographical area it covers and its focus on cultural topics. It seeks
to differentiate itself from other media outlets by primarily focusing on cultural
content.
The target audience of La Plana Cultural is people interested in culture and
everything that happens in the region in that field. It doesn't focus on IQ or
academic performance but rather on an interest in culture. The aim is to attract
people between 30 and 60 years old, regardless of their educational level.
Regarding design and corporate identity, the corporate colors are brown and
beige, representing the color of the stones found in the castles that abound in the
region. The website uses these colors on a white background to appropriately
highlight and distinguish the content.
As for typography, the "Poppins Semi Bold" font is mainly used for titles and
headings, which is spaced and visually pleasing. The "Fauces" font is used in
bold for headlines, providing dynamism and modernity. "Proxima Nova," a font similar to "Calibri" but more spaced out for easy reading, is used within the
articles.
The structure of the media outlet is divided into sections based on the content of
each piece. These sections include music, tourism, theater, art and literature, and
traditions. Each section covers relevant cultural aspects of the region.
The platform used for the media outlet is WIX, which offers a quick and
convenient way to manage the website and upload content. It is intuitive and
allows for various working options.
Regarding social media, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube were chosen due to
their high traffic and the possibility of combining them with the digital platform.
These social networks will allow for dynamic content, user interaction, and the
announcement of new publications.
As for expenses and income, the main expenses include fuel for transportation
and content creation, as well as a subscription to the Premier Pro plan for video
creation and editing. Income is expected through advertising on the website.
La Plana Cultural has published 24 pieces, including news, interviews, photo
galleries, and reports. The outlet will continue to create content and increase its
presence on both the website and social media platforms.
The idea is for La Plana Cultural not to remain merely a Final Degree Project but
to continue its activity and growth in the future. [-]
