no logran tener eficacia.

Large NGOs have been participating in our society for many years. Until now, the
way to reach us has been through communication with advertisements in media
such as television or on social networks like YouTube. New content platforms like
TikTok and Twitch have made the message even more ephemeral than it had
become with the Internet and social networks like Instagram. This means that, in
particular, young people have a very distant image of TSSA. The objective of this
research is to know the mental representation in university recipients about three
NGOs: Greenpeace, Doctors Without Borders and Red Cross. Most of their
campaigns repeat the same message that has been prevalent in campaigns of the
NGO sector for years, and perhaps at the time it fulfilled its role and was effective,
but today, apart from being generally unethical, it is not effective. As a result, NGOs
perceive that there is no generational change in the membership. The
communication of the TSSA is confronted with an idealization of NGOs by society.
Some NGOs manage to have a good corporate image, but it is evident that they
promote stereotypes and perpetuate cultural ethnocentrism, presenting volunteers
as "heroes", with the Global North saving the Global South. [-]
