This document presents the project report of the Video Games Design and Development
Degree Final project by Óscar Seguí Rodrigo. It is a video game titled Laboratory 93 that
consists of a 2D escape room based on the actual pandemic we are living at this moment,
but in the year 2050, and using BLE beacons for the interaction with the different rooms in
the real world.
The player will be able to move through different rooms for changing between the game
scenarios, looking for the necessary items and resolving the clues in this laboratory with the
objective of creating the vaccine to save the people and escape this place.
This will create a greater challenge considering that the synchronization with a game and a
beacon is very complex and, of course, a great form for the player to get a more immersive
experience.
As well, it is necessary to comment that the part related to the development of the beacons
interactivity is still in progress, so in the corresponding section it is mentioned the work
developed until the first day of July. [-]
