My Final Degree Project consists in creating an original game in which the physical activity is an
important mechanic, so it motivates the player to do physical exercise in order to fully enjoy the
game.

My Final Degree Project consists in creating an original game in which the physical activity is an
important mechanic, so it motivates the player to do physical exercise in order to fully enjoy the
game.
The project is composed by two parts then: one of them is the game itself, which can be played
on the computer; the other one is a mobile application responsible for counting the user steps in
real life. The main idea is to use those counted steps as points in the game to exchange them for
different upgrades for the character and additional help for the player.
This document details everything related to this work: game assets and design, game
programming, pedometer functionality for the app, as well as updating data from a mobile app
to a computer game. [-]
